In the pursuit of nurturing thoughtful legal minds, LexTalks is building an accessible and intellectually vibrant legal conversation movement that empowers the next generation to think critically, debate confidently and engage meaningfully with the law.

LexTalks brings law students, young lawyers and legal thinkers together for structured discussions, debates and case analyses.

What we work towards

  • Create a nationwide network of legal communities
  • Facilitate structured debates and discussions on contemporary legal issues
  • Give students a platform to practise advocacy, reasoning and public speaking
  • Produce high-quality legal conversations through the LexTalks Series
  • Enable collaboration across colleges and cities
  • Foster a culture of open, respectful and informed legal dialogue
  • Make legal thinking accessible, modern and community-driven
Voluntary · Free · Not for profit

A voluntary, not-for-profit initiative, guided by advocates with nearly four decades of practice and encouraged by the leadership of a law college and by well-wishers in the Indian diaspora. Run by IIT students, law students and seasoned professionals from multinational companies, with experience spanning close to forty years, all volunteering their time.
